Research foci at CoBIC
Research at CoBIC is as diverse as its community. Yet, several lines of coordinated research programs benefit from our cooperative efforts. They investigate the dynamics of neural processes underlying physiology and pathophysiology.
One example is the LOEWE center DYNAMIC (Link: https://www.dynamic-center.net/en/ ), in which we use a dynamic network approach to better understand and treat mental disease.
The nature of knowledge representations both on object and linguistic levels is in the focus of the DFG funded research group ARENA (Link: https://neuroai-arena.github.io/). In this consortium, we compare neural representations of semantic knowledge with corresponding solutions in artificial intelligence models.
CoBIC researchers also contribute to the study of Risk and Resilience in Developmental Diversity and Mental Health (Link: https://www.r2d2-mh.eu/), a consortium funded by the Horizon Europe program of the European Union.
